RudraGram Collection

Every Indian shop keeps the same three presences near the gaddi — Ganesha to clear the way, Lakshmi to bring the wealth, and Kuber to make sure it stays.

The Vyapar Kavach Locket from RudraGram brings that arrangement into a single energized kavach — small enough to wear, and equally at home in the cash box or at the counter.

It is our simplest and most affordable business product, and for most shop owners it is the right place to start.

Which business product is right for you?

We make several, and the differences are real. Please choose by your situation rather than by price.

Vyapar Kavach Locket (this product) The simplest and most affordable. A devotional kavach, worn or kept at the shop. No Rudraksha, no chart required — a good first purchase.
Vyapar Vriddhi Kavach The Rudraksha version — 7, 8 and 12 Mukhi, for obstacle removal, wealth and market reputation.
Shri Mahalaxmi Yantra Locket If income itself is the problem — Lakshmi is the giver.
Kuber Yantra Locket If money comes but never stays — Kuber is the keeper.
Sales Siddhi Kavach If your income depends on closing deals and convincing people.

The three presences of a shop

Lord Ganesha — Vighnaharta. Invoked first, always. Licences that stall, payments that delay, deals that break at the last step — Ganesha is who a business turns to for the obstacle rather than the outcome.

Maa Mahalakshmi — the giver. Wealth, abundance, good fortune. Her Shreem is the sound every Indian business has grown up hearing on Diwali night.

Kuber — the treasurer. He does not create wealth; he guards it. Savings, capital, the money that should not be leaking. In Vastu the north is his direction, which is why the locker traditionally sits there.

Clear the path, bring the wealth, keep it. That is the whole of vyapar.

Who It Is For

  • Shop owners, retailers and showroom owners
  • Traders, wholesalers, distributors and commission agents
  • Service businesses — salons, clinics, workshops, restaurants
  • Startup founders and first-generation entrepreneurs
  • Anyone opening a new shop, outlet or office
  • Businesses working through a slow patch
  • Families who keep a Lakshmi-Ganesh sthan at their premises

How to Wear or Place It

  1. Choose an auspicious dayDhanteras and Diwali are the most auspicious of all for a business kavach. Otherwise Friday, the day of Maa Lakshmi, or Wednesday for Lord Ganesha.
  2. Cleanse the locket with clean water in the morning, wipe it dry, and place it before your deity or altar for a short while.
  3. Invoke Ganesha first — obstacles clear before wealth settles. Chant "Om Gam Ganapataye Namah" before the Lakshmi and Kuber mantras.
  4. Energize it with mantra — chant 108 times before wearing or placing it. The kavach is already siddh through our Pandit Ji's japa, so this is an added personal step.
  5. Wear it or place it — around the neck on a red or yellow thread, or kept at the shop counter, gaddi, cash box or locker. If placing it with the cash, the north side is traditionally preferred, as that is Kuber's direction.

Chanting & Practice

Ganesha Mantra (chanted first): "Om Gam Ganapataye Namah" Lakshmi Mantra: "Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah" Kuber Mantra: "Om Yakshaya Kuberaya Namah"

Chanting the Ganesha mantra before opening the shop each morning is the practice most closely associated with this kavach. Performing Lakshmi puja on Fridays and at Diwali, and lighting a diya at the entrance at dusk, are the other traditional observances.

These cost nothing and can be kept whether or not you own the kavach.

Care & Maintenance

  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use.
  • Remove it before swimming, a long bath, or applying perfume or deodorant, so the metal does not tarnish.
  • Avoid harsh cleaning agents on any engraved surface.
  • If kept in a cash box or locker, wrap it in a clean red cloth.
  • Treat it as a sacred object rather than as jewellery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Vyapar Kavach Locket? It is an energized business kavach invoking Lord Ganesha, Maa Mahalakshmi and Kuber. It is traditionally worn or kept at a shop or office for growth, obstacle removal and steady trade.

How is it different from the Vyapar Vriddhi Kavach? This is the simpler and more affordable of the two — a devotional kavach with no Rudraksha, suited to a first purchase or to keeping at the counter. The Vyapar Vriddhi Kavach is the Rudraksha version, built with the 7, 8 and 12 Mukhi beads.

Should I buy this, or the Lakshmi or Kuber yantra? Depends on the problem. If income itself is short, Maa Lakshmi is the traditional choice. If money arrives but never stays, Kuber is. This kavach brings all three presences together and is the general-purpose option — a good starting point if you are not sure.

Can I keep it at my shop instead of wearing it? Yes, and most owners do. It is commonly kept at the counter, on the gaddi, in the cash box or at the Lakshmi-Ganesh sthan.

Where exactly should I place it? If you are keeping it with cash or a locker, the north side is traditionally preferred, since north is Kuber's direction. Otherwise the pooja sthan or the counter is perfectly appropriate.

Why is Ganesha invoked first? Because obstacles must clear before wealth can settle. Every Indian household and shop worships Ganesha before Lakshmi, and this kavach follows the same order.

Will this increase my sales? Please read it as a practice, not a promise. It is a traditional devotional item kept for focus, discipline and gratitude in business. It produces no income by itself, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something else.

If business is bad right now, should I buy this? Only if it does not cost you something the business needs. The mantras and the Friday puja cost nothing and can be kept on their own. Please never borrow to buy a remedy.

What does "siddh" mean? It means the kavach has been energized through mantra japa and prana pratishtha. In tradition, an unenergized item is simply an object. Ours is energized by our Pandit Ji before dispatch.

On which day should I start? Dhanteras and Diwali are the most auspicious. Otherwise Friday, or Wednesday for Lord Ganesha.

Is it suitable as a gift? Yes, it is among the most appropriate gifts at the opening of a new shop or office, and at Dhanteras and Diwali.

Can women wear it? Yes. There are no restrictions of gender or age.

Are there any rules to follow? Keep it clean, remove it before bathing where convenient, and treat it as a sacred object rather than an ornament.

What is your shipping and return policy for this product? We offer free shipping across India (4–5 business days); international shipping is calculated at checkout. As this is an energized sacred item, returns are accepted only in case of damage, defect, or wrong item, within 7 days — see our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy for full details.

Note: This kavach is a traditional spiritual item used for personal belief and devotional practice. It makes no financial or business claim of any kind and is not a substitute for professional financial advice. Individual experiences may vary.
