Why Garbh Gauri and 5 Mukhi Together

Garbh Gauri Rudraksha is a naturally formed bead in which a small bead grows attached to a larger one — understood as Maa Gauri (Parvati) with her child. It is the bead traditionally associated with motherhood, the wellbeing of children, and the grace of Shiva and Parvati as the divine parents.

How to Wear or Keep It

1. Choose an auspicious day — Monday, the day of Lord Shiva, is most commonly recommended. Thursday, the day of Guru, is also favourable, and Putrada Ekadashi and Santan Saptami are the traditional days for this prayer.
2. Cleanse the kavach with clean water or unboiled milk in the morning, wipe it dry, and place it before your deity or altar for a short while.

4. Wear it around the neck on a red or white thread, or in a silver cap on a chain, resting close to the heart.
