About the Beads and Their Origin

This kavach is assembled from nine individually certified beads, and their origins differ by what each mukhi offers best.

The 1 Mukhi is of South Indian origin. Genuine round Nepali 1 Mukhi is extraordinarily rare, and a great deal of what is sold under that name in the market is not genuine at all. We would rather supply a real South Indian 1 Mukhi than an unverifiable Nepali one.

The remaining beads are sourced from Nepal, the origin most valued for larger beads with deep, clearly separated mukhi lines.

Since Rudraksha is a natural seed, the nine beads will differ noticeably from one another in size, shade and surface texture — and they should. Uniform-looking beads are a sign of processing, not quality.

How to Wear the Navgraha Kavach

1. Choose an auspicious day — Sunday, the first day of the week and the day of Surya, is most commonly recommended. Navratri, Maha Shivratri and Amavasya are also considered especially auspicious for a Navgraha remedy.
2. Cleanse the kavach with clean water or unboiled milk in the morning, wipe it dry, and place it before your deity or altar for a short while.

Is a South Indian Rudraksha less genuine than a Nepali one? No. Origin affects size, thickness and appearance, not authenticity. A South Indian bead is a real Rudraksha; it is simply smaller and more widely available.

Is each bead certified separately? Yes. All nine beads are individually lab certified, and the certification is supplied with the order.
