What is Angarak Dosh?

Angarak Dosh, also called Angarak Yog, is said to form when Mars and Rahu sit together or in close aspect in a birth chart.

The name comes from Angaraka — the burning ember — one of Mars's own names, and the very word used in his mantra, "Om Ang Angarakaya Namah". Mars is heat, force and assertion. Rahu is impulse and excess. Placed together, tradition holds that the fire loses its restraint.

How to Wear the Angarak Dosh Kavach

2. Cleanse the kavach with clean water or unboiled milk in the morning, wipe it dry, and place it before your deity or altar for a short while.
