How to Wear It

1. Choose an auspicious day — Vasant Panchami, the day of Maa Saraswati, is the most auspicious of all. Outside that, Wednesday is most commonly recommended.
2. Cleanse the pendant with clean water in the morning, wipe it dry, and place it before your deity or altar for a short while.
3. Energize it with mantra — chant "Om Aim Saraswatyai Namah" 108 times before wearing it for the first time. The pendant is already siddh through our Pandit Ji's japa, so this is an added personal step.
4. Wear it daily — around the neck on a white or yellow thread or chain. It is light enough for everyday school and college wear.
5. For very young children, families often keep it at the study table or in the pooja space rather than around the neck.
